IBM ThinkPad T41

Got it for free and no traces of use... T41 Wiki
The CPU looks like 32Bit only - at least Slackware 14.1 x64 wasnt able to boot
and nagged about missing 64 bit cpu. Next try Slackware 13.37 32 bit

- (first thing) replace the 40GByte hard disk with a spare 100GByte
- Intel Pentium Mobile 1.6GHz
- 1.5GByte Memory

Quite a desaster - this notebook series seems to have a mass defect!
The cooling infrastructure is too small - once the notebook is warm the fan never stops again...
Give it back to the vendor.
